The students learn basic skills in sample preparation, gravimetric analysis and titration and get acquainted with some basic instrumental analytical techniques selected according to the European Pharmacopeia. They are able to interpret analytical data correctly. The Students achieve key skills in verbal and written communication and are able to work together in teams.

Fundamental operations and handling of chemicals in analytical chemistry (correct dilution of solutions, measurement of volume and mass, precipitation, filtration, digestion, ignition) gravimetric and volumetric analysis (neutralization, complex-formation, redox titrations) potentiometric endpoint detection, statistical evaluation of analytical data
