The students are able to analyze data with the software R, and to present and interpret the results of statistical analyses.

The students will successfully apply statistical methods on practical examples and case studies from drug development.

Part 1: Introduction to R. Descriptive statistics, probability, significance testing, regression and survival analyses with R. 

Part 2: Practical statistical calculations in R with examples from drug development

•    Part 1 will be taught as a self-learning video course
•    In part 2 students perform practical statistical calculations, supported and supervised by lecturers

practical course applying theoretic knowledge to specific statistical questions, successful completion of statistical calculations
