Graduates of this module are prepared by the practical accomplishment to the experimentally oriented master thesis. They should have acquired the ability to conduct the experiments by themselves. Furthermore, they should have acquired a deeper understanding of experimental techniques in physics.
Experiments: Will be presented in the first meeting.
Preparation for an experiment based on a manual/literature. Experimental work in the lab. Data analysis using standard software. Writing of report about the obtained data.
The examination of preparation, performance in the lab and the lab report will be assessed. The overall grade will be derived by a point system.
Course documents are deposited in the corresponding OLAT course, which will be accessible after the first meeting.
The time and place of the first meeting will be announced before semester starts.
