- are aware of different translation concepts focusing on sign language,

- explain different forms of translation and different translation techniques with a focus on sign language

- localize translation research in the context of language and text     

•Translation concepts, forms of translation, settings and translation techniques

• Translation studies issues 1: Translation studies approaches in connection with language and text (text analysis and translation, translation methods, translation quality, functional translation theory, discourse analysis approaches)

• Translation models in connection with language and text (translation-related information and communication models, functional models)
