800872 VO Lecture series on climate protection
winter semester 2023/2024 | Last update: 06.11.2024 | Place course on memo listFundamentals, research results and solutions for climate protection
Students recognise connections between an individual's personal decision-making and specific local and global problems. They recognise how human actions influence the natural and human world.
Students are able to identify and name key thematic concepts and research the relevant sources of information and literature.
The limitation of climate change is one of the central social tasks of our time, the university can contribute here with concrete research and solution approaches. Therefore, this lecture should deal with this subject with contributions from different disciplines, with the aim to initiate further research in this field. The issue of energy plays a central role, but many other interdisciplinary sustainability topics can also contribute to climate protection.
Keynote speeches, background information on climate change, research results and solutions for global climate protection, lectures and discussion events as well as workshops and interdisciplinary scientific discussions.
Content contribution.
Successful participation in the course is assessed with "mit Erfolg teilgenomnnen" (passed with success), unsuccessful participation is assessed with "ohne Erfolg teilgenommen" (without success).
