The students have in depth knowledge of the fundamentals of the dynamic and numeric hydraulics of free surface flow and pipe discharges. They are able to use and practically implement their knowledge of numeric simulation software, designed for one, two or three dimensions, while solving practical hydraulic engineering tasks.
Basics of dynamic and numeric hydraulics of pipelines and free surface channels combined with practical exercises (hydrodynamic equations and simplifications thereof);
Lecture with accompanying exercises (possibly in combination with laboratory visit and excursion)
Written examination
