The students should gain a basic understanding for the significance of informatics and mathematics to human beings and the whole realm of society. Owing to the course they should become able to understand the contents of the lecture but also to use them on their own initiative concerning similar issues.
Reflection upon the ethical and social dimension of informatics and mathematics. The significance of informatics and mathematics to humans and their living together in society is considered and should be explained.
