Participants of this course shall become acquainted with the most important instruments and procedures for the international protection of human rights. They shall furthermore be enabled to deal with legal questions regarding the protection of human rights and to approfondish them academically.
Special attention will be devoted to the European Human Rights Convention and the EU numan rights protection system. Also other regional human rights protection mechanisms the UN human rights instruments will be treated.
There will be a final written or oral exam on the subjects of the course.
The participants will be informed about further literature when the course starts.
