The numerical analysis seminar is devoted to the discussion of recent advances in the numerical solution of differential equations. Emphasis is laid on time integration. In particular, we are interested in exponential integrators and splitting methods for linear and nonlinear evolution equations.
The seminar is intended for students who write a master’s thesis in my group - or who intend to start with a master’s thesis or a PhD thesis in the near future. The seminar is offered every semester.
