The essential steps of a thesis are discussed in four meetings. It is dealt with issues such as how to find an appropriate topic, research on literature, citation rules, contents and structure of an academic paper. The course aims at motivating students by clarifying the conception of a thesis.
The fundamental juridical tools necessary for the elaboration of a successful thesis in the field of civil law (in consideration of conflict of laws and comparative law) are provided in the course.
Practical exercises and leaflets help to learn and foster scientific working attitude. Individual problems and questions are dealt with in small groups.
Physical presence and active participation in the meetings are required in order to obtain a certificate.
Registration in the first session. Use of e-campus to support the course.
