• to explore wide-ranging aspects of geographical, historical and socio-political Britain • to focus on representative examples, images and case-studies • to develop basic study skills and collocational competence
Country and people, history, geography, identity, attitudes, political life, the monarchy, the government, parliament, elections, the law, international relations, religion, education, the economy and everyday life, the media, transport, welfare, housing, food and drink, sport and competition, the arts, etc.
A series of worksheets with questions, tasks and activities to complete in advance of each session. Guided and focussed discussion based on such worksheets.
