The students acquire the skills necessary to employ social science methods when confronted by concrete case examples.

The proseminar, in combination with the lecture of the same title, provides an opportunity for the practice and application of empirical methods. Through the use of practical cases all the action phases of research - the formulation of research questions, the investigation and evaluation of the data, the composition of the report - will be independently processed by the students.
