To ensure that students have CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) B2 level in listening and speaking skills. Listening: to promote receptive listening skills with particular stress on understanding gist and detail. Speaking: to promote oral skills and highlight problem areas in pronunciation, intonation, stress, grammar, vocabulary, fluency and oral communication
A variety of texts on areas pertaining to English and American Studies, including literature studies, cultural studies, linguistics, media studies etc.
Interactive teacher - student approach, group work, listening journal. Individual tutorials will also be offered.
Participation Presentation(s) Listening final exam. Oral final exam. Exam dates to be announced in class.
