To give students an insight into the workings of English at an advanced level > C1+ and create a flexible awareness of the language.
Time/tense, subjunctive, passive, nouns/noun phrase, verbs/verb phrase, modality, word order, concord, co-text, context, referencing - based on concepts and contexts.
Class presentations supported by obligatory tutorials and class discussions. Weekly homework based on the consolidation and revision of in-class topics.
Final written exam and class presentation.
Reference shelf in the UB.
Attendance at the first session is obligatory
