Its Fiction, but it brings me closer to reality The course will concentrate on the observation of nature, urban landscape or people compared to what and how we experience the same motives through media, internet, publicity or movies.
Both approaches will be compared and will be sources to express feelings and thoughts.

The main question will be how real is our phantasy and how it is related to ourselves.

Beginning with photo-series, followed by individual analyses of the results, the students will translate their photographs into paintings, drawings, videos or installations.

Each student will develope their own ideas and thoughts and will decide in what medium she/he wants to express herself/himself.
The course will include an introduction to contemporary artists who did works referring to the theme of our research with projection of artworks.
The aim of the course is to enable the students to go through artistic processes: How to develope ideas and thoughts to become artworks, as to sensibilize and sharpen our consciousness about what we see.

Rivka Rinn bittet aufgrund des großen Andranges um die Abgabe eines Portfolios des ´bisherigen künstlerischen Outputs´. Dieses ist bis zum Freitag, den 05.10.12 12:00 Uhr am ./studio3 abzugeben. Aufgrund der Qualität dieser Portfolios wird die Teilnahme entschieden und die darauffolgende Woche auf der studio3-Homepage gepostet.
