To raise critical awareness about interdisciplinary approaches to teaching and learning (cf. CLIL). To design and implement three integrated lesson plans, with bridging homework assignments. To apply gained expertise in working with a wide variety of texts and text types.

A series of initial workshops on key aspects of interdisciplinarity and cross-curricular planning. Individual or paired presentations (depending on number of course participants) of a week’s programme of work, with one full 45-minute lesson being simulated in class. Follow-up poster and dossier of improved work within two weeks of the presentation.

Active workshop participation; Simulation in class; Follow-up poster and dossier with improved lesson plans and materials exploited; Letter of critical self-reflection, with relevant section(s) from EPOSTL, incorporated into the overall Portfolio
