Students understand the historical, political, social and cultural conditions of gender relations, gender orders and gender differences. They are able to present scientific knowledge of gender in such a way that it shows evidence of professional treatment.

The meaning of gender relations in modernity, their continuity and transformation will be discussed in the lecture. Equally the consequences of these forms of social relations for education will be discussed.
