Expanded knowledge and independent application of art-historical methods on examples referred to in the lecture
Cathedrals in France and England; the spread of the Gothic style in Germany, Italy and Spain; architectural challenges in profane/general gothic architecture. This introductory seminar will lead students to learn how to describe and categorize architecture.
