Expanded knowledge and critical application of art-historical methods on examples referred to in the lecture
Gianlorenzo Bernini and Francesco Borromini are among the most important architects of the baroque era. At the same time and in the same place the rivals developed different architectural concepts for profane as well as religious buildings, which will be investigated upon the background of the Roman architecture of the 17th century.
