622005 Seminar with Bachelor-Thesis
winter semester 2013/2014 | Last update: 09.12.2013 | Place course on memo listWorking through and contextualizing information (sources and/or research literature) following the scholarly rules, competence in writing scholarly papers (formulating, justifying and defending arguments and presentation skills) on a selected topic of Contemporary History and presentation of the newly acquired knowledge.
Students have to elaborate a bachelor’s thesis of about 30 pages on a selected topic of Contemporary History. The seminar assists and supports the BA-thesis regarding working skills and content on the basis of a Peer Review process.
Reading, formal lectures, oral presentations and discussions, (online-)excercises.
Course with continuous performance assessment: attendance at all sessions, comments, exercises, written paper (30 pages), oral presentation.
Reading list will be provided.
Online-enrollment required, starting 2.09.2013!
