2. A historical understanding of ancient religious believes

By analyzing ancient hymns and prayers together, the students become acquainted with the religious believes of the ancient Egyptians. Another aspect is to learn about how the concept of god changed over the course of time.  

Lecture in combination with discussions, research- and reading exercises.

Active participation, readings, regular and active participation in discussions, final written exam

Literature provided with annotations is announced during the course
