Learning Outcome:

Students completing this module should get basic knowledge of classical physics (mechanics and heating theory) and should be able to understand and apply the corresponding concepts as a central point of their training.

Contents:

Waves; deformable bodies and liquids; thermodynamics; basic elements of statistical mechanics.

Methods:

Lecture, assessment is based on a single examination at the end of the course.

Assessment:

Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations"

Will be discussed in the first lesson.
