Students in this Modul should acquire the basic knowledge about electronic circuits. They should be able to understand, use and debug the most common circuits used in Quantum Optics. Furthermore they should acquire the knowledge to design and build simple circuits on their own.

• Basic Electronics principles, passive networks, filters

Basic Opamp principles

• control Engineering (Feedback, PID Servo, ...)

• digitial circuits (logical gates, microcontroller, ...)

Continuous assessment (based on regular written and/or oral contribution by participants).

Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations"

Will be discussed in the lessons.

Elektronic for experimental physics in the field of quantum optics.This practical course consists of theoretical parts (during the semester) and practical parts (during the semester and between). Experience in electronics or knowledge of the modul Physik 2 (Elektrodynamik und Optik) are recommended.

Only a limited amount of course places is available.
