Students will acquire in-depth knowledge in areas relevant to the application of physical chemistry, particularly in the surface and nano science and heterogeneous catalysis. The students understand key processes in Atmosphärenund Environmental Chemistry and acquire detailed knowledge in the field of phase transitions with practical applications in materials science.

Physico-chemical properties of nanostructured materials, and application of metal oxide nanoparticles in heterogeneous catalysis, pollution control, energy technology and process optimization

lecture

oral examination

Will be discussed in the first lesson.

This lecture is identical with the course "Kinetik und Katalyse I" (elective subject "Chemische Kinetik und Katalyse" in the second part of study of the old diploma programme chemistry)
