The acquisition of the theoretical bases regarding the complexity between town and country; understanding the meaning of the borders between town and country and the design of the free areas outside and inside the towns from a sociological, cultural, ecological and aesthetic point of view.

With one or more examples, the development of a town or part of a town will be analysed and discussed, together with its structural aspects, its content and design. Based on this, various possible measures for building and designing empty spaces will be discussed and projected.

Continuous assessment (based on regular written and/or oral contribution by participants).

Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations"
