Students are familiar with probability theory and statistics

The motion of probability, some discrete and continuous probability spaces, conditional probability, independence, random variables and their distributions, expectation and variance, correlation, the central limit theorem, confidence intervals for \mu and \sigma^2, estimation of parameters, chi-square-test

Continuous assessment (based on regular written and/or oral contribution by participants).

Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations"

Will be discussed in the first lesson.
