Goal: C1 in particular in the following activities:
Production written:
The learner can produce an article/ presentation on his/ her area of speciality.
Reception written:
The Learner can take information, ideas and opinions from complex texts from his/ her own area of speciality.
Production oral:
The Learner can give a clear, systematically developed presentation on his/ her area of speciality or field of interest and, if necessary, depart from a prepared text and follow up questions raised by members of the audience.
Interaction oral:
The learner can participate in formal discussions and appropriately respond to questions, comments and objections.
Text types:
letters, emails, short forms (paragraphs), reports, summaries, abstracts, articles, papers, essays; reading academic texts and preparatory research; to organise your writing; to present an argument; to describe methods/processes/ problems/ results; to use the appropriate language register (formal or informal)
academic vocabulary:
especially collocations/ word combinations; synonyms; referring to sources, facts, statistics etc.
