Cultural foundations of empirical and formal sciences. The special problems of history and human sciences. Empirical, historical and formal methods.

Lectures and discussion.

Oral exam or paper (essay).

Will be discussed in the first lesson.

For Diplom Kath. Fachtheologie (C 011): positive completion of compulsory modules 1, 3, 4, 7, and 8 of the first section of the diploma programme.
