Students will be introduced into the problems and challenges of services management. Emphasis is placed on the need for continuous improvement and development of services and products in service organizations. The tourism industry serves as an example and delivers interesting case studies to deepen the knowledge and to develop problem solution capabilities.
Supporting facilities and facility design of service enterprises, innovation processes in service enterprises, service encounters and waiting line management, capacity and demand, supply chain management, introduction into tourism management challenges, e.g. tourism destination management.
Input, guest speaker, presentation of group works and excursion.
