Learning Outcome:

Acquisition of competences in reading, interpreting and contextualizing texts of French literature. Acquistion of competences in writing for scientific purpose

Contents:

The course comprises three units: 1. Introduction to scientific research 2. Introduction to systematic reading of literary texts 3. Practice and analyzing of texts of the French literary canon: (1) chosen poetry; (2) Anouilh, Jean: Antigone; (3) Duras, Marguerite: Moderato cantabile

Methods:

Accent lies on participation of the students and the training of competences in analyzing literary texts. During the semester students will have to (1) write two papers (3 pages each) (2) do a presentation; (3) test at the end of semester

Assessment:

participation, 3 small termpapers, test in the end of semester
