In this project seminar, students should assume social responsibility and understand international developments better. The intercultural exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration are central to this project seminar. Furthermore, students should develop social skills such as solidarity and tolerance.

During the preparation time in Austria students will work on different topics and will prepare and hold workshops on topics.

In addition, further topics such as development policy and the current political and social situation in Ecuador will be analyzed.In the subsequent joint field trip to Ecuador this course will be revised and discussed with disadvantaged children and young people and teachers.

There is the possibility of intercultural exchange with children, young people, students, teachers and their environments.

Continuous assessment (based on regular written and/or oral contribution by participants).

Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations"

Will be discussed in the first lesson.

2. Studienabschnitt

The project seminar will be held in summer term 2014 and in winter term 2014/15. The corresponding field trip to Ecuador will takes place in February 2015.
