Knowledge about specific forms of scientific communication in philology and cultural studies disciplines, insights into the structure of the university as an institution
This course discusses organisational, social and cultural aspects of the philological subjects as research disciplines. It presents the university as an institution and in its role as producer and transmitter of knowledge. The course also reflects on the importance of language and literature in society. It further looks at the most important techniques and tools for the philological subjects.
