Knowledge of theoretical foundations of langauge acquisition research as well as research findings and their relevance for language teaching.

Research findings in the field of language acquisition for various modern languages are conveyed on the basis of their theoretical approaches. Students learn how to interpret research findings and how to draw conclusions for language teaching. On this basis current school curricula and coursebooks are analysed in order to find out if psycholinguistic findings are taken into consideration.
