Choosing plays for the repertoire of a theatre; discussing the different fields of production dramaturgy while having a closer look on various productions of the Tiroler Landestheater or other theatres in Innsbruck: framing the textbook of a play, checking translations, dramatising a novel and/or film, doing research on secondary literature for the directing team or the actors, writing a programme, moderating a matinee, planing introductions for pupils etc.
Practice in different fields of dramaturgy. Visit rehearsals, matinees or performances at the Tiroler Landestheater or other theatres in Innsbruck.
Presentations, active participation in the discussion, short essays (reviews)

Students are supposed to be interested in theater in general and to visit as many performances as possible especially at the "Tiroler Landestheater" is recommended to provide a common basis for further discussion in the course.
