Widening and consolidation of knowledge in the field of Austrian History dealing with aspects of current historiography on the First World War, it´s main tendencies and controversies.

The course covers problems of Austria-Hungary between 1914-1918 in an international and regional perspective by studying the work of various European and regional First-World-War-historians.

Active acquisition of scientific papers, participation in discussions, oral presentation and written (team-) papers.

Continuous assessment, attendance at all sessions, participation in discussions, presentations, written papers.
