The critical interpretation of historical source material stands at the core of the historian’s work. In this course, we will work on a number of exemplary sources and submit them to thorough historical source criticism. The examples hail from the field of 19th-century communication history and touch issues such as telegraphy, wireless or contemporary forms of transport.
