Graduates of this course should have gained basic knowledge and practical skills regarding programming, especially for applications towards physics' problems

Basic knwoledge and practical skills of programming C. Programming and applications designed specifically towards physics' problems and methods. Linux 101.

This course orients itself towards methods in applied natural sciences and NOT toward Computational Science. Meaning that applications have to follow usual techniques in natural sciences even so these appear unusual towards Computational Scientists. This is together with functionality one of the assessment criterias. 

Lecture, assessment is based on a single examination at the end of the course.

Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations"

Will be discussed in the first lesson.
