The students should be able to write small computer programs that solve typical problems of physics, mathematics and chemistry.

Examples of the content:

data treatment: inspecting / regularizing / sorting / smoothing / inter- and extrapolation

fitting: model selection / linear / non-linear / weights /

 and examples from visualization, spectra, transformations (FT…), integration methods

Programming with the prototyping tools Matlab and Mathematica
