After the successful completion of this module, students have advanced knowledge in those scientific disciplines that are particularly important for working on the dissertation.

Modeling of composites and composite materials, Introduction to Fracture Mechanics of wood and wood-based materials, strength and failure mechanisms in Querzugbeanspruchungen, test methods for determining the rolling shear strength, fatigue proof according to EN 1995-2, dynamic behavior of vibration sensitive ceilings and structures, analogies in sound insulation and vibration dynamic behavior, derivation of design approaches from empirical research results in general and for timber construction;

Continuous assessment (based on regular written and/or oral contribution by participants).

Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations"

Will be discussed in the first lesson.
