Goal: partly A1
At this level the learner can introduce himself/herself and others and answer questions about personal details; he/she can interact in a simple way provided the interlocutor speaks clearly and slowly and is prepared to help.
Topics:
similarities and differences Bosnian – Croatian – Serbian; numbers; greeting and saying goodbye; getting to know and introducing each other; jobs; countries and nationalities; characteristics and colors
Linguistic goals:
to greet and say goodbye; to get to know and introduce each other; to ask someone how he/she feels, to apologize; to ask and give information about origin/ nationality/ place of living/ address/ education/ job; to fill in forms; to describe people and objects
Structural goals:
pronunciation and stress; the structure of sentences: statements, questions with and without the question particle “li”, negation; declination of nouns: nominative singular and plural, genitive singular (preposition “iz”) – to express where somebody comes from; present tense of the verb “biti” (unstressed, stressed and negated form) – to make indications about people and objects in the present; interrogative pronouns – to ask questions; personal pronouns – to refer to people and objects; adjectives (definite and indefinite form) – to describe people and objects; cardinal numbers – to express addresses and telephone numbers
