Students have an advanced knowledge of the basic terms, components, action principles or mechanic-electric relations of control, energy and drive technology and are able to put these into practice.

Description of linear, continuous systems as linear transfer elements in the domain of time (differential equations, state-space theory) and in the frequency domain (Laplace-transformation, transfer function, frequency slope); stability analysis; control circuit structures and control synthesis; accompanying computer-aided tutorials and practical application in selected lab-models;

Lecture with computer-based exercises and laboratory exercises.

Parallel efficiency checks during the course of performance assessment by a laboratory exam and two written examinations. Type: Written exams (100 minutes) and laboratory work with a written laboratory report. It is offered a retry exam, which includes the overall content of teaching. Note: Three passed exams give the total score. The pass mark is 50% of the individual exams. Resources allowed in the written exams: NONE
