Similar to the use of speech or writing tools distinguished the ability of residing the homo sapiens - not only through a highly diversified spectrum, ranging from villas and apartments to monasteries and barracks, camps and prisons, but also by a well-diversified offer, to understand dwelling theoretically and aesthetically. According to this residing has left with his overlay of social and political, aesthetic and philosophical, anthropological and psychoanalytical, architectural and urban discourses in the literature a lasting mark.
