The acquisition of key qualifications needed for the successful completion of pro-seminars and seminars; the acquisition of communicative and presentational competencies, knowledge and practical use of subject-specific working methods as well as the fundamental rules of academic work.

The course offers an overview of skills and methods for research work. The students will exercise "guided reading" and "guided writing"; they learn different ways of research-presentation, and how "PS- and SE-Arbeiten" are structured; visiting research library.

Ex-cathedra teaching, visiting research library, short presentations, teamwork, discussion.

Regular participation in the course,  participation in discussion, reading exercises, short presentation, writing exercises.
