Students will acquire basic knowledge in the area of qualitative and quantitative research methods. Drawing on this knowledge, they will be able to critically analyze and autonomously implement of small research projects.

Starting from general methodological considerations, the main methods of scientific data collection and analysis with emphasis on issues in the field of educational science are presented, discussed and deepened on the basis of appropriate research questions.

 

Introductory lectures, plenary discussions. The course will be co-supervised  by Amelie Sandra Roessler (Amelie.Roessler@student.uibk.ac.at).
