The students will be guided through the process of writing their bachelor-theses, which have to be completed within the seminar. They will gain a basic knowledge of Disability Studies and compose their theses within this area.

Starting from the question „What is disability?“ different models of disability will be highlighted. Inclusive Research, which demands research WITH people with disabilities instead of ABOUT those people, will be at the center of the seminar. In this context, research ethics and its challenges will be discussed.

Group discussions; shared reading; presentations of the planned bachelor-theses, PowerPoint-lectures

Course with formative assessment, i.e., students are graded on the basis of written and/or oral tasks assigned regularly over the term.
