At this level the learner can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance – e.g. personal and family information, shopping, work, immediate environment; he/she can communicate in routine situations of information exchange on familiar and routine matters; he/she can describe in simple terms aspects of their background, education, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.

Linguistic Goals:
to describe something; to congratulate someone; to invite someone; to offer something; to ask for permission; to give an advice; to organise an excursion; to express pleasure/regret; to call someone; to forbid something; to express assumptions/doubts/objection; to express necessities; to express emotions; to compare things with each other
Structural Goals:
the comparative of adjectives - to compare different things with each other and to compare them; condicional – to express wishes/possibilities in various ways; possessive pronouns - to substitute a subject; imperative – to give orders/advices; futuro simple – to express actions/states, which happen in the future; pluscuamperfecto – to express an action completed before another action in the past
