Improving the capability to plan and lead in contexts of teaching and learning through the implementation of a teaching project, expertise to present a scientific poster.

The course is divided into two sections: teaching and learning in higher education and presentation of science to the public. In the first section own action-guiding educational theories are presented, conditions of teaching and learning are analysed and course plannning is practiced on a concrete project. In groups, topics such as leadership, methods, visualization etc are developed. In the second section the focus is on the teaching of science/theology among experts and the general public. The main focus will be the creation of a scientific poster and participation in a poster exhibition.

Process-oriented work;  alternating practical exercises and theoretical lessons ; independent development of topics in groups;  planning and presenting part of a lesson ; creation of a scientific poster (including learning the necessary technical prerequisites) as well as attendance and participation in a poster exhibition.

Active participation and cooperation; independent elaboration of a theme and presentation to the group; creation of a course plan and a scientific poster; participation in the poster exhibition; portfolio.

Recommendation: Science Didactics should be taken within the same semester as Science Theory II.
