The students are able to understand the approach of Communicative Theology and to reflect it in respect of interreligious interrogations.

From the beginning Communicative Theology as a "new culture of theology" (how Americans say) shall be understood Christian-ecumenically. Already the first congress has been co-created by evangelical theologians. The second congress of Communicative Theology (2005) was explicitly dedicated to ecumenic experiences. A paper of the Indian theologian Francis D' Sa revealed the interreligious confrontation, which has been extended by the collaboration of Muslim colleagues during congresses and in the multidisziplinary research team.
In our seminar we follow the interreligious spurs of Communicative Theology and ask for possibilities and limits of communication. As we especially invite doctorands (and diplomands) from non-european cultural hearths we can speek englisch in our seminar if necessary.
