summer semester 2015 | Last update: 23.03.2015 | Place course on memo listThe student acquire the basic competences for defining specific subjects in educational science and for drafting related research questions. They understand and they are capable of describing the foundations of pedagogical action.
The Orientation Days open with a lecture, which offer a frame for the following podium discussion. The lecture gives the students an initial overview of the discipline and its developments as well as of vocational and work fields. At the end of the Orientation Days, former students of the Educational Science faculty discuss to what extent the knowledge acquired during their studies meets the expectations of the labor market.
Lectures, podium discussion, contributions from teaching staff and student representatives, close readings and supervised group work.
Close reading of particular paragraphs of "Wie Gertrud ihre Kinder lehrt" by Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi.
