Students are able to grasp scientifically key educational and social science texts

This course will improve fundamental reading skills. The lessons will cover the following topics:

- critical analysis of educational and social science texts

- identify main ideas of science texts

- utilize various reading strategies

- communicate of diverse texts

lecture, group work, exercises, guided reading

oral presentation and participation, presence, exercises (exzerpts)

Course with formative assessment, i.e., students are graded on the basis of written and/or oral tasks assigned regularly over the term.
